Wow, its been almost 2 months? 2 busy months!

The last 2 months have been quite eventful to say the least! Everyone has had a cold off and on, dad had kidney stones and surgery, mom has not been feeling well, Kaila has been VERY busy with school, Kinsey has been busy with school, Logan and Lawson have been busy getting boo boo's and playing, and Khloe has been busy growing and learning new stuff! Mark has been working pretty much non stop. Niscayah has been busy so he has been putting in several hours a week of overtime and working at the RBC center since the Hurricanes are back at it (his first love)!

Kaila has had several projects for school and has done very well on all of them! She has been doing a great job playing the bass clarinet! She had a Christmas recital last week and did great! (she is the ONLY bass clarinet in her band) In the last couple of months I have really seen Kaila's teenager side come out. She wants to hang out with friends constantly, listen to music, wear make-up...oh what a story I have for that one :)

Kinsey is learning the normal 1st grade stuff. Reading, writing, math, socializing :), which she does real well!

Logan got a boo boo last week. He is so clumsy! We were walking through a parking lot and it was soooo cold he had his hands in his pockets and tripped over Lawson (who was walking right in front of him) and his bottome lip caught his fall!

Lawson is pure boy. After being told 3 million times not to run down the steep driveway, I turn my back for 5 seconds and where is he? Running down the driveway and what happens? ROAD RASH! I don't see how he has any skin left on his face. He looks like a hockey player that doesn't where a helmet with all of his scars..... but he keeps trucking and with a big smile!

Khloe has changed so much in the past 2 months! She weighed 13 lbs. 6oz. at her 4 month appointment the end of November. She is much more alert and interactive, she is a little less fussy, she loves playing with her sisters and brothers, she is getting much stronger with her head and back. It is so funny the other day I put her in her bouncer and came back to see she had sat herself up, guess she was tired of laying down :) We are still struggling with finding food she can eat but hopefully that will get better soon!

The kids had a teacher workday in November and we decided to do some shopping. Since the kids behaived so well Grammy let them jump on the trampolines in the mall which the kids thought was soooo fun! Logan and Kaila even did back flips!

Some pictures of the kids playing in the leaves!

Bragging Rights!

So, I feel the need to brag a bit....

Kaila has always LOVED school! (for those who know me best know how BIG of a blessing this is) Her love of school and doing her best is really starting to pay off. She has always made good grades but she is doing exceptionally well this year! Kaila scored 97th percentile on her North Carolina EOG placement test last year and was chosen by Duke University's gifted program to take the SAT or ACT placement test this year, 7th grade! We are so proud of her!

The Joys of Potty Training :)

Lawson, so far, has been the hardest child to potty train. Looks like we are finally on the upside! STUBBORN!!!!

Khloe 10 weeks and tubby time!

I have been so lucky to have four easy babies! Well, baby #5 has made up for every bit of how EASY the last 4 were :) She is doing much better sleeping at night but she still proves to be a diva when it comes to entertaining her when she is awake! She hates sitting at home (like her momma) the swing, boppy, baby toys, and bouncer are no entertainment :) She does however like to shop and be held!

She has always loved bathtime so she really loves bathtime now that she can sit in the water and doesn't need the newborn sling in the baby bath!
